The Ethics of Euthanasia: Baby Rena
[ send me this essay ]
A 3 page paper discussing the case of Baby Rena, whose foster parents insisted on extreme measures to prevent her death even though it was well past time to let her go. Author and theologian Vigen Guroian is highly opposed to euthanasia, though he is not opposed to allowing a person – any person – to die with dignity. For Guroian, dying with dignity does not include pursuing every heroic attempt to apply every known technological tool in seeking to prolong life. Rather, dying with dignity can and often does include being allowed to die from the patient perspective. Though Guroian is vehemently opposed to active euthanasia, he believes that Baby Rena would have been better served had she been allowed to die in peace and with dignity. Bibliography lists 1 source.

The Evolving Dynamic of Terrorism In The 1990s
[ send me this essay ]
14 pages in length. The foremost fundamental aspect of war is that of force; if the element of force did not exist, there would be no motivation for battle. With this in mind, it is relatively easy to apply this concept to the notion of terrorism, inasmuch as the ultimate goal of any terrorist is to obtain the desired commodity through drastic and often deadly means of force. By understanding this obvious correlation, one can effectively argue that without the support of force on their side, terrorists would not have the ability to pursue their violent protests, which – for the most part – have historically been political. Part of the problem is that terrorist activity demands to be noticed, a fact that ultimately constitutes the need for force. However, if the terrorist is not acknowledged, this may lead to the need for even greater force in order for the demands to be met. And the incessant cycle continues. Bibliography lists 14 sources.

The Existence Of Evil Disproves An Omnipotent God
[ send me this essay ]

If God is omnipotent and morally perfect, how can He allow evil to exist? This is the argument that is put forth in this paper. The very fact that evil does exist disproves the concept of an omnipotent morally perfect God. Bibliography lists 8 sources.

The Fallacies Of The Theory Of Evolution
[ send me this essay ]
This 8 page paper briefly explains the theory of creation and the theory of evolution. The writer then argues there are numerous fallacies in the theory of evolution that evolutionists cannot explain. The invalidity of the theory of evolution is indicated by using scientific theories. For instance, the Theory of Causality says that 'whatever begins to exist had a cause.' This theory alone disproves the Big Bang theory. Other scientific arguments are used against evolution.
